There are, inevitably, various ways you can support Local Friends.
Prayer and Publicity
Prayer is probably the most important of all. Please pray for the organizers, the volunteers, and especially for those being visited.
Publicity is really important to us as we seek to develop the scheme. Please tell people about Local Friends and promote the scheme when appropriate. It would be really nice if you could tell us when you have had the opportunity to promote it in some public event or publication – perhaps by giving them a copy of the Church Flyer: you can download a copy, or ask us for some actual leaflets.
If you can help in either of these ways, please sign up to receive the email newsletter, so you know how to pray and what you can tell people.
Visiting and Volunteering
Visiting people is the core of what we offer. If you might be able to make the occasional visit, please let us know!
Volunteering opportunities exist in other ways, too. What experience, skills or contacts can you contribute? Can you help with organization, producing publicity, designing leaflets, chasing feedback reports ... ?
If you can offer some help, or have any ideas about where else we might find it, please get in touch.
Finance
