Dear people,
I thought you would appreciate a quick update from the Sea Mills and Coombe Dingle Community Hub. I am the local hub co-ordinator, and have two requests for you.
Up to a couple of days ago, the Council had passed on to us three requests for support: two requests for dog walking, and one to pick up a prescription. We have successfully responded to each of these, so many thanks for that. Apologies to anyone who has volunteered but not been asked to do anything as yet: your involvement is appreciated. I imagine that most of you will be supporting friends, family and neighbours on an informal basis, and every one of these points of contact helps to avoid putting pressure on the Council system.
We have just been asked to provide telephone support for two more people - one female, one male. So the first request is: if you would like to offer to provide telephone support for one of them, please let me know - and let me know if you have a preference, either way. I'll pass the contact details on to the first two to respond.
I have been asked to check that volunteers have completed the relevant paperwork. So the second request is to everyone: please reply to this message, and let me know (yes or no) whether or not you have:
Thank you very much in advance for your help. If you have any questions, are not sure how to do any of this, or need any support in doing it, do let me know!
All the best,
Paul.
